Marlin Monroe

'Marlin Monroe' is a sculptural collection of series' which comments on the idea of the perfect woman. I used a theme of feminine objects and symbols in conjunction with raw fish to show the gross obscureness of the assumptions and expectations that surround this ideology. This work was made over the course of 2019 as my final submission for my NCEA Level 3 Sculpture course. It got awarded an Excellence mark and a place in the NZQA Top Art exhibition.
